Old Mill

So yesterday I went on a hike with a friend. we found this old mill somewhere in Asheboro NC. I used my wide angle lens... which is my favorite. Also i took the time to learn how to use new things on photoshop. such as the lens flare. its totally fake. I like what it adds to the image though. Also I played with adding a spot light. let me kow what yall think. I believe i am going to try and find this place again once it snows because i think i will get some sick pictures.

Class Time and fun fun fun

So we are in the last of our second semester of photography and boy is it tough! Its been a fun semester and we have learned alot about color and digital.
One of out projects for our digital class was to express what spring means to me and to me it is, "April Showers Brings May Flowers"
We also used gels to make self portraits during design lab and that was a bunch of fun to see what ideas people came up with. I decied I was going to be a hipster. Hey! if photography doesnt work out I could have a very promising career in beat boxing and break dancing. Photos are coming soon from that thug life. Here is wat the set up looked like.

West stokes track practice

Today while enjoying relaxing during spring break I decided to go and see my track and cross country coach. I took some photos while there of the team.
Even though I love college being back at he high school really makes me miss track and being home. The West Stokes track team has had an undefeated season so far. Tomorrow they have a meet against Starmount, and Forebush. I believe they will have no problem winning. The high jumper has already made a qualifying height for states. Good Luck tomorrow!!!

Birthday suprise!!

so April 5th was my birthday and since its now 12 14, it was yesterday. I did a shoot on my birthday and that was like one of the best birthday gifts I could of had. I enjoyed just hanging out with friends. My model was my friend Justin. He was a great model. He also let me play with his 50D. I taught him about how to use his white balance. Also my grandparents came from Hickory to eat dinner with my family and I. So I had a pretty good birthday until Duke won the NCAA.
